Publishing is free

You never have to pay to publish an article on ReadingPub, and we do not take a share of anything your writing earns you elsewhere. The two $13 unlocks (the rich editor and the AI assistant) are optional conveniences bought once, not a licence to publish.

Your article stays yours

You keep the copyright in everything you write here. By publishing you give us a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and share your article on this site and in its listings -- nothing more. You may ask us to take an article down at any time. You warrant that the work is yours to publish and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.

What we will not publish

Every submission is moderated before it appears. We decline anything illegal, infringing, deceptive, malicious, or pornographic, and anything whose real purpose is to place a link rather than to be read. Published articles carry one nofollow outbound link. We may remove a published article on the same grounds, or where a legal or data-protection obligation requires it.

What an advertiser is buying

Space on the rail: one 40x40 block, its image, its link, and a click count. The price is shown before you pay -- $24 for a block in the top three rows, which every phone sees, and $16 for every other block.

A permanent artifact

A block you buy is permanent. Once your placement is approved and goes live it becomes a lasting artifact of that board’s record -- it does not expire, and there is no term to renew. (Free nosebleed blocks are the one exception: they run a shorter term and cycle back to the board, so the back stays fresh.) The only thing that removes a purchased placement is compliance: content that is illegal, infringing, deceptive, or fraudulent, a valid court order or legal demand, or a data-protection obligation we are legally bound to honour (such as a required erasure). Only then may we remove or alter a placement, without notice or refund. Short of a legal or regulatory requirement, what you buy stays up.

Your artwork

You warrant that you hold the rights to what you upload. We remove anything illegal, deceptive, malicious, or pornographic, without refund.

No guarantee of engagement

You are buying a placement, not a result. We do not promise any number of views, clicks, or conversions. How much traffic a board gets, and how many people see your position on it, are things we describe honestly -- neither is a guarantee.

No refunds

Purchases are final. Once a block or a written-copy draft is bought, it is not refundable. The one exception is a payment that arrives after the block was already resold -- that is refunded in full, because you received nothing for it.

Availability

Blocks are sold first come, first served. Free blocks are limited to one per board per advertiser and carry a shorter term.

Payments and tax

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Any sales tax or VAT that applies is shown at checkout and added to the price.
