About Pixboard

A board is a grid of 40x40 pixel blocks -- 1600 pixels each -- stacked to fill your screen edge to edge. How much of the board you can see depends on the screen you are on: a phone renders 9 blocks across, a 1920 desktop renders 48.

Position is reach

Because small screens show fewer blocks, a block near the top-left is on screen for essentially every visitor, while a block far out to the right exists only for large desktops. That is what a block is worth, and it is exactly how the price is calculated -- proportionally to the share of visitors who can see it.

Pixboard is built and run by phpMyDEV, LLC.

The nosebleeds are free

Blocks too far out to reach many people are given away rather than sold. Below about two dollars, card processing fees eat most of the transaction anyway. Claim one, see how it performs, and buy forward if it works.

What you get

Your block, your image, your link, and a click count. A block you buy is permanent -- a lasting part of the board; free nosebleeds run a shorter term.
