Privacy
Who we are
Pixboard is run by phpMyDEV, LLC, the data controller for this site. For any privacy request -- a copy of your data, a correction, deletion, or just a question -- email privacy@pixboard.ad.
What we store
Your email address, the blocks you hold, the artwork or video you upload, and any flyout copy. There are no passwords -- sign-in is by one-time link. We do not sell your data, and there are no third-party analytics, ad networks, tracking pixels, or embedded fonts on this site.
Cookies
One cookie, and it is strictly necessary: a session cookie that keeps you signed in after you use your login link. No advertising or analytics cookies -- so there is nothing to consent to.
Click tracking
When a visitor clicks an ad we record the time, a truncated user agent, and the IP address, so advertisers get a click count and we can spot fraud. Raw click rows are deleted automatically after a year; only the aggregate count on the block survives.
Server logs
Our web server keeps a short operational log of requests -- including the IP address -- for security and debugging. We keep these under our legitimate interest in protecting the service, and they are rotated and deleted after about 30 days.
Who else touches your data
A few processors help run the service, and each gets only what it needs: Stripe (payments -- your email and billing details); Anthropic (an uploaded image, and any AI-written copy, are sent to its moderation/writing model); DigitalOcean Spaces (stores and serves your artwork over its CDN); our email provider (your address, to send login links); and Google Safe Browsing (a destination link is checked for malware and phishing). Each is a US-based processor bound by a data-processing agreement, and nothing is shared for advertising.
How long we keep it
Your account and the artwork on your live blocks last as long as the placement -- purchased blocks are permanent, free blocks run their term -- or until you ask us to delete them. Login links expire in minutes; click rows after a year; server logs (which include IP) after about 30 days. When you close your account we delete your email and artwork, subject to any records we are legally required to keep (such as tax and payment records).
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, have it deleted, or object to or restrict how we use it -- email privacy@pixboard.ad and we will act within the time the law allows. If you are in the EU or UK you may also complain to your data-protection authority. One caveat: a purchased placement is a permanent part of a board’s public record -- we honour any legal erasure obligation, but a simple change of mind about a paid block is governed by the Terms.
